about

Foreword by Brennon M:

This EP was originally conceived as a single song-- the one we call "On The Western Front"-- which was to be the last song we ever wrote with yours truly as a member of The Observer. Fortunately, circumstances in my life evolved to where we did not have to condense our emotions into a solitary song, and I could continue to be a productive member of this band. I am very thankful for that.

Every square inch of this music is full of the urgency, depression, confusion, & juxtaposed idealism which filled our hearts at the outset of our mission. I feel as though I have harnessed those underlying emotions and linked them together in the lyrics and overall theme-- with the help of my best friends.

This is our best work-- from the songwriting, to the mixing & mastering, to the artwork. It's "A Finale If There Ever Was One".
